Doors have stories to tell... In fact have you ever thought about how many things doors see and go through on a daily basis. The constant banging, wind thrusting against it and secrets concealed behind it. I found myself admiring a door in Paris. It looked old but yet beautiful at the same time with all its cracks and embellishments; and it made me wonder how many more could look so interesting. I mean how many people change their doors, if ever? These are artworks. And each one is unique, with its own journey. It's so interesting to think that if they could speak, they would tell us so much about people and the things that have past it. I couldn't help admiring many more doors and so I decided to take pictures of the intriguing doors I passed. I'm sure they loved the attention!

Travel: PRAGUE
My second stop on my vacation was, Prague. I've never been to Czech Republic or even ever thought I'd go there before my dream city Milan but here I was... Living and breathing in the capital city of Czech. As soon as I landed at Vaclav Havel Prague airport; I took the public transport from the airport to my hotel, and as I hopped on the bus, it was as if I was in a movie; people just staring at you, analytically and you just sit down quietly, because you clearly look like an outsider and cant hide it. At first glance the faces wernt friendly but from traveling frequently and living in Australia for some years, I've come to realize that people are always more intimidated by you as you are of them. And so I didn't let them bother my perspective of this city. Just Keep calm and carry on.
All in All the people of Prague were good to me. I understood nothing of their language but they were pleasant people. I stayed At Una Hotel, which at first glance I had reservations about but was surprise with a lovely spacious room, complimentary one night 3 course meal and a complimentary ticket to visit their zoo. This place also gives you more value for your money e.g R500 was 266 in the Czech currency. Needles to say I wasnt complaining. The city is also easily accessible with their trams which I used, but mostly I loved the walking to see New towns, Dancing house and Old towns, Old times square and everything else in between. I really wish I had more time to see it's amazing art galleries and Andy Warhol exhibition, But I suppose I will leave that
for another trip in another city.
TRAVEL: Europe Summer Vacation
Another blessed vacation to Europe. My home away from home, especially London. It always shows up in my Europe vacation plans as if I cant breath without some of that royal air. London town was my first and last stop for this vac. In between is a mix of classic well known city scapes and unknown beautiful streets of Italy and Bacerlona. I took memorable pictures which I will forever treasure, with my Iphone5 and Nikon D5100.
